The Toronto Football Officials Association (TFOA) is committed to providing top-level football officials for the Toronto area, since 1943. The TFOA provides on-field officials for Canadian Amateur Football levels across the Greater Toronto Area. In addition, TFOA members support Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) and Canadian Football League (CFL) games through minor official positions.

TFOA offers Football Canada Officials Certification Programs, rules and positioning clinics, and a personal mentoring program to assist in the development of all officials. Those who advance may have the opportunity to officiate in such leagues as the Ontario Varsity Football League, the Ontario Football Conference, the Northern Football Conference, the Canadian Junior Football League, Ontario University Football and the Canadian Football League.

The TFOA is proud to have on-field representation across all levels of Canadian football from grassroots to the CFL level.

New members are welcomed each year, with new officials required to take Level 1 FCOCP Certification Clinic prior to joining. Clinics are typically run in the spring prior to the start of each football season, please see the ‘Recruitment’ page for more information about getting involved with the TFOA
